This exceptional day-trip gives you the opportunity of a visit to a magnificent city such as Bergamo, and at the same time to discover one of the most important area for the production of Prosecco wine in Italy. Bergamo is a very special city: his oldest part (città alta-upper town) has been grounded on the top of a hill, completely surrounded by the ancient walls, from where you have a spectacular view over the Po-plane. There is also downhill the second part of the city (città bassa-lower town), where the important economical heart of the city is pulsating. During your visit you are going to concentrate your attention on the upper town, feeling the experiance of living in a middle-aged city with outstanding buildings and magnificent squares.   In the early afternoon, after the free time for lunch, you are going to moove to a wine region called Franciacorta, very famous in Italy and all over Europe for the production of Spumante Wine. In Franciacorta you will visit two different wineries: a big one, where you can have a look at the different steps of the production of wines and a smaller one ruled by a family where you are going to feel also the love for the tradition and the territory. Verona & Garda Lake Day-trip from Milan

This day-trip from Milan in our comfortable mini-van, is for those who want to allow themselves an intense full day made of romanticism, "dolce vita" and refreshment.   We ll start our day in Sirmione, a lovely medieval town with a lively atmosphere which is set on a peninsula that stretches for about 4km into the coloured water of Lake Garda, the biggest lake of Italy.  We'll take a private boat tour around the peninsula, during which our guide will carefully carry you into the history of this place inhabited since Roman time. Sirmione boasts, among other historical monuments like the famous "Grottoes of Catullus" and former Maria Callas' villa, a wonderfull castle (Castello Scaligero), a rare example of lake fortification, built by the Scaliger family to protect the lower parte of the lake. With its typical swallowtail battlements and its “darsena”, the dock, this castle represents a unique attraction.  After lunch we'll then head to Verona, a city that is is worldwide known for being the city of unrequited love, the place where the story of Shakespeare’s Rome and Juliet was set. Our guide will show you the most important places in town starting from Piazza Bra with its elegant and charming palaces along the “Listone”, the very famous pavement in pink limestone. We won't miss the most important roman monument, the Arena, an amphitheatre still famous nowdays for the international lyric festival and of course the world-wide famous Juliet's balcony, a must for everyone visiting Verona. Other secret spots will be unvealed... Do not worry: we will not leave Verona without a taste of local prosecco..  The return back to Milan is scheduled in the late afternoon.
